Hey everyone and welcome to my ISU webpage! Here, we will be discussing themes, conflicts and several other topics of interest.
Skud is a short, yet thrilling novel that excites the reader because of the suspense, mystery and excellent combination of delivery and association with the reader. Dennis Foon has planted the seeds to the story very well and the execution of ideas is marvelous. He does a splendid job of replicating the lives of struggling high school boys and allowing young readers like ourselves (teenage boys) to make relations without having to contemplate very much. The ending is a snake because of its surprise and how it strikes so hard that the reader might even shed a tear.

Journey of Self
Journey of Life
Having dealt with gang fights, drugs and killings, Shane has experienced many tragedies throughout his life. After resigning as gang leader of the TMR, his life took a huge turn and he began to perceive the brighter side of life and what it means to be a good person. It is evident that Shane's life is the greater adventure as compared to the other characters, but he has experienced much more pain. The reader can clearly tell that Shane had separate stages in his life, one more sorrow than the other. After adapting to a much different life style we can see the endpoint of his journey, the journey of his life.
